Have loved this song since I was a kid.  My sister Fi bought Off the Wall album when it was first released and played it over and over, and now this album along with the Saturday Night Fever soundtrack is my go to album when I need a pick me up or just want to dance!
 
This song is very vividly black white and mauve in my mind, with the later 2 colours twirling and splotching about like shooting starts in beat with the strings of the song.  The patterns were done via automatic drawing for this number as the white and mauve on the black interpreted the music for me but I felt the piece needed something more.
 
The 54 girl here is Miri, and she is in a very 70’s Halston style jump suite, which I would love to wear if I was on the dance floor boogie-ing down to Michael Jackson!
